"Biometrics" is the term related to Digital Securities. Now before going through the biometrics first of all we must have knowledge of digital securities, so digital securities are the precautions which are used for the security purposes and to make the entity safe and secure using the digital terminology. The word Digital is directly related to the Computer world which means that the work on 0 and 1. So finally Digital Securities are the securities provided which work on 0 and 1 technology.

Now in digital securities what is the Biometrics? Biometrics is combination of biological measurements. This technology is the biggest achievement in the world of digital technologies because it made  the task of security checks for the human being very smooth.

Lets discuss about Eye retina. Eye Retina is the part of eye which differs person by person. The nervous system of eye retina is specific for the every specific person  which is read by the specialized machines commonly known as  Retina Scanner and is converted into Digital terms using some logical algorithms. The data of retina is being saved in database and can be used any where for permanent identity which is very useful in security purpose. This technology is being used now a days in corporate offices, sensitive zones and over secure areas.

Thumb and Palm Impression is also being used for permanent identity for any human. The figures of palm and thumb and also differ to every person, so these are also used by the specialized scanners which converts this into digital information which is used to identify the authorized person.

Digital X -Ray machines also scan the body of human and detect for any unwanted entity  which is identified as an unauthorized in the database.

These all measurements work on some special digital algorithms which are designed on such a logic.

So this technology is running this time and because it have a very vast  area so research on it is still going on.
